Private schools

Replacing three tools and a spreadsheet.

Most private schools we speak to run fees in one package, attendance in another, and communication through personal WhatsApp. The records disagree, and reconciling them is somebody’s week.

Where the time goes

Fee follow-up is the largest recurring cost in a school office, and most of it is spent working out who actually owes what. When invoices are generated from the class a child is enrolled in, that question stops being research.

The second cost is attendance reaching the office late. A register marked on a phone in the classroom is in the system before the second period.

What changes for the principal

The morning figure — present, absent, unmarked registers, collected, outstanding — is available without asking three people for it.

Examination results are computed from marks already entered, so the fortnight of assembling report cards becomes an afternoon of checking them.

What changes for parents

They stop calling the office for attendance, homework and fee balances, because they can see all three.

Next step

Ready to run your school on one platform?

Tell us how your school runs today — what is on paper, what is in spreadsheets, what your current software does badly. The demonstration follows that rather than a script, and we will be straightforward about the modules that are not built yet.

What a demonstration involves

 • Thirty to forty minutes, on a call, with your screen or ours
 • Roughly how many students and staff you have
 • What you use today for fees and attendance
 • Whether you run one campus or several

No obligation, and no pricing pressure on the first call. If SchoolOS is the wrong fit for your school we would rather say so then.
